Detail:

Together we will explore key topics including the understanding of unconscious bias, adultification and microaggressions.  Through real world examples and interactive discussions, we will provide a safe space, understanding that sometimes we have to get things wrong to get things right.  The aim is to promote equity empowering everyone to thrive, building stronger relationships and creating change where needed within are professional environments.

Sessions will include

  • Recognising Discrimination
  • Addressing Inequalities
  • Understanding Identity and its Challenges
  • The Equality Act 2010
  • Building Relationships

Outcomes

By the end of the session, participants should feel more confident in engaging with Gypsy Roma & Traveller communities, addressing their specific needs, and promoting equality and inclusion in their services.

All sessions will last for 2.5 hrs, with a comfort break.  All sessions will be held online via MS Teams.
