Information sharing is critical between all agencies. When Hertfordshire Children's Services complete an assessment of a child and family (under section 17 or section 47 of The Children Act) they send partner agencies a form asking for information. At the moment these requests are sent as an email with an attached word document for you to complete and email back.
Working in collaboration with partners, Children’s Services are aiming to launch their newly innovated method on Monday 31 March 2025.
The new method is that you get an email, with a link that takes you through to the same information sharing form in on online portal. When you press submit it automatically zooms back to Children's Services and populates the child's social care record. Everything is in one place online, it’s secure, there is no risk of emails or information going astray and you can download the information you’ve provided as a PDF.
The Hertfordshire Safeguarding Children Partnership will be holding the following launch sessions, facilitated by Children’s Services, and you can sign up using this link. All sessions will be held via MS Teams.
