Z Twilight - The Involuntary Celibate Movement (Incel) Nov 22.

Twilight session provide a unique opportunity for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL's) in schools to obtain an update on current topics.

Attendance at twilight meetings is recognised as part of Continous Professional Development for DSLs in relation to the expectation in Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE).  All school safeguarding leads should receive regular updates in addition to their required training programme.

Sessions are held from 16:00-17:30 to accommodate the teaching day.

At the end of the session delegates will ;

1. Understand the Involuntary Celibate (Incel) culture in the wider ‘Manosphere’
2. Recognise key  linguistic and behavioural indicators of the Incel community
3. Learn the ideologies that underpin the Incel community, specifically those that lead to violence
