Introduction to Hertfordshire's new referral pathway for reporting adult victims of modern slavery and human trafficking.

Modern slavery and human trafficking can take many forms, including the coercion, exploitation, deception and/or trafficking of people for labour, sex, criminality, organ removal, marriage and servitude.   

The purpose of the adult victim referral pathway is to support staff in Hertfordshire to identify and report possible adult victims of modern slavery and human trafficking to the appropriate channels.

The event is suitable for Safeguarding Leads/Champions within any organisation, along with anyone working with adults who wants to understand how to effectively report potential adult cases in Hertfordshire.

Presentations by Hertfordshire County Council, Hertfordshire Constabulary and Watford District Council.
